SIMBLOC INC. is a Canadian company based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, manufacturing modular concrete products such as Mortarless Building Blocks, Floor / Roof Systems, Stone Facia Veneer, Driveway / Road Curbing System, Retaining Wall Systems, and Interlocking Paving Stones.
Company / Family History : Simon Stenekes comes from a family who has a long history in the construction and manufacturing industry. His roots come from the Netherlands in Europe where he was born and where his ancestry was involved in the stone construction business. Even today his older brother and his children are involved in the paving stone and retaining wall business in Holland. In Canada Simon's Father Hendrick Stenekes started a concrete products manufacturing business in the backyard of the family home in 1959 which Simon continued and expanded from 1969 for 25 years before passing it onto his son, Mark Stenekes, Mark continues the business manufacturing custom architectural precast concrete products and landscape materials in Hamilton (Flamboro) Ontario.
Simon has developed patented new innovative building systems which are manufactured here in Canada, among these are products displayed on this site. The Simbloc Mortar less Concrete Block Building System is one, also a Floor / Roof system which is used in development projects in The Dominican Republic and El Salvador, and also a new Driveway / Roadway Curbing System.
